LAURINBURG - Women after God’s Own Heart Agency will hold its annual Women’s Conference — “Don’t Count Me Out!” — at the Storytelling and Arts Center of the Southeast at 131 S. Main Street in Laurinburg from Sept. 23 to Sept. 29. The focus of the conference is to help those who have been hurt in any area of their life.


On Sept. 23, the guest minister will be Evangelist Essie Davis; on Sept. 24, Pastor Shirlene Davis; on Sept. 25, Pastor Joann Davis; on Sept. 26, Minister Janet Baber and on Sept. 27, Prophetess Ruby Mitchell. The event begins at 7 p.m. each day.


On Sept. 28, Evangelist Devita White will speak at 9 a.m., a lunch will be offered at noon and Elder Tabitha Burk will speak at 7 p.m.


A free gospel singing will round out the conference on Sept. 29 at 3 p.m. Groups include The Wells Family, Sandy Grove Male Choir, Allen Chapel Church Choir, St. John’s Holiness Church Choir, Psalmist Carolyn Allen and Psalmist Twila Thompson.
