HAMLET — Business owner L. Diane Wolfe will present an online marketing seminar March 11 at Richmond Community College. The session will take place in the Cole Auditorium from 9 a.m. to noon and includes a detailed handout and PowerPoint presentation.
“Promoting Your Small Business Online” is designed for those considering an online business and owners with an established site. Wolfe walks attendees through the steps, from creating a dynamic website to generating publicity. Writing enticing web copy, navigating social sites, developing a newsletter, and generating a media blitz are covered in this three-hour seminar.
“One can build a brand name and expert status much faster online. It’s very cost-effective, as the old rules of marketing don’t apply,” said Wolfe.
Registration for this free seminar may be done online, via email or by phone. Register online at tiny.cc/sbcseminars; via email at firstname.lastname@example.org; or call Small Business Center Director Deborah Hardison at 910-410-1687. Pre-registration is preferred, but walk-ins are welcome. There is a $5 refreshment fee.
Attendees will expand their knowledge and learn new strategies for promoting their business online. Armed with a list of beneficial websites and suggested books, they will leave with a clearer picture of online marketing.
