Teams from Carver and Spring Hill Middle School faced off this week in the annual Battle of the Books competition. The teams were evenly matched and the score stayed close until, in the final rounds, the Spring Hill team pulled away with the victory. Representing Spring Hill were Martina Litty, Sam Poage, Karl Rabutan, Ryan Phillips, Quinton Covington, Zipporah McMillan, Isabel Huesa, Makayla Hall, Bailey Sloop, Shareen Rahmathulla, Alexis Patterson. and Caroline Infinger. Representing Carver were Tyler Pittman, Seth Armstrong, Kaylie Morin, Keara Banks, Kenyonna Deese, and Courtney Carter.

The Spring Hill team will be going to Fayetteville State, to represent Scotland County in the Region 4 competition, on April 10th.
