LAURINBURG – The St. Andrews University Writers’ Forum will hold its first Open Mic of the spring semester on Thursday beginning at 8 p.m. in the Ronald H. Bayes Writers’ Forum Lounge in Orange Residence Hall on the University’s campus.
“This traditional allows for all writers to share with a community of their creative peers,” said Ted Wojtasik, faculty advisor of the Forum. “We invite poets, musicians, fiction writers and non-fiction writers from the area to come out to share their talent.”
Individuals interested in sharing their work are invited to sign up the night of the reading with student host Darian Cahill. Readings are limited to between five and seven minutes to allow for all readers an opportunity to share.
