LAURINBURG — The president of the Scotland County chapter of the NAACP was recently featured in a UNC-TV forum discussion surrounding the film “Racial Taboo” and how it may be used to spark open and honest conversations about race.

Terence Williams appeared on Black Issues Forum, which aired Sunday and Monday and can be viewed online at video.unctv.org/video/2365238029/, along with the Rev. Eric Porterfield, of Winter Park Baptist Church in Wilmington and Brian Grimm, a businessman and producer of “Racial Taboo.”

Black Issues Forum is a locally produced weekly half-hour public affairs series that airs on North Carolina’s statewide PBS network UNC-TV. Each week, an issue or topic of interest and concern to the state’s African American community is presented. Black Issues Forum is an original production of UNC-TV since 1987.
