LAURINBURG — Village Cleaners in Laurinburg plans to end production on Thursday.
Owners Norman and Pat Mathes said that they have decided to retire after 25 years in business.
After the shop’s regular vacation the week of July 4, the business will be open with limited hours through July to accommodate customers with unclaimed garments.
“The most important part of our business is you — our treasured customer,” Norman Mathes said in a statement. “It has been our pleasure to have served our hometown and its surrounding communities.”
