LAURINBURG — Scotland Health Care System is celebrating Patient Safety Awareness Week this week.

The slogan for this year’s celebration is “United in Patient Safety”. The campaign is an ongoing initiative designed to spark discussion and promote action to improve the safety of the health care system for patients and the staff.

Employees of Scotland Health Care System celebrated by creating posters that highlight patient safety efforts in their departments. The posters can be seen on display in Scotland Memorial’s cafeteria through Saturday.
