LAURINBURG — Officials are asking Scotland County residents to take part in a survey on health concerns.
The Scotland County 2016 Community Health Needs Assessment Survey is expected to provide an understanding of the health, concerns and health care systems of the community.
The assessment is performed every three years as required by the NC Department of Health and Human Services. It is conducted by the Scotland County Health Department along with Scotland Health Care System, according to Kathie Cox, public information officer with the Scotland County Health Department.
“This assessment will provide direction and focus for Scotland County Health Department, Scotland Health Care System and other community agencies and organizations in Scotland County,” Cox said. “This assessment will serve as a basis for improving and promoting the health of Scotland County residents.
The CHA survey will close on April 26.
