LAURINBURG — Police are looking for two men who held up a Laurinburg convenience store wearing Halloween masks.
Police say the robbery occurred at about 1 a.m. Monday at Washington Park Convenience Store located at 407 E. Vance St.
The men were wearing masks from the horror movie “Scream” when they entered the store, police said.
According to police, the men entered the store with handguns and demanded money from the clerk, who was the only one in the store at the time. They also took a few items from the store then fled in an unknown direction.
One of the gunman was wearing a black jacket, the other was in a blue jacket, police said.
The Laurinburg Police Department is reviewing the store’s surveillance tapes.
