The Scotland County American Red Cross hosted a training session for facilitators of its Pillowcase Project on Wednesday. The project, which evolved during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, is a preparedness education program in which children decorate pillowcases in which to store belongings in the event of a crisis.
