LAURINBURG — Calvin Platt, 21 of Wagram Street, was charged with kidnapping, robbery w dangerous weapon, first-degree burglary, assault with a deadly weapon, probation violation, larceny after Breaking and entering, breaking and entering and injury to real property. No bond was given.

LAURINBURG —A resident of Hall Street reported a vehicle had its back window broken and a damaged trunk on Sunday, according to police. The total damage was $500.

LAURINBURG — A resident of Ashley Drive reported a rock had been thrown through a window on Saturday, according to police. The total damages was $100.

LAURINBURG — A resident of North Main Street reported an unknown person cut a screen door and damaged a light bulb on Saturday, according to police. The total damage was worth $100.

Thefts

LAURINBURG — A customer of Walmart reported a bike stolen on Sunday after he parked it outside of the store, police said. The total value stolen was $80.

LAURINBURG — A resident of South Main Street reported two bike were stolen from their backyard on Sunday, according to police. The total value stolen was $300.

LAURINBURG — A resident of Ashley drive reported two wallets and assorted cards were stolen from a vehicle on Saturday, police said.

LAURINBURG — Shamrock Tires on North Main Street reported a cell phone and business phone stolen Saturday, police said. The total value stolen was $300.

LAURINBURG — Food Lion located on Aberdeen Road reported someone took laundry detergent without paying on Friday, police said.
