Luke 10:42 – “But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.”

When you hear the words, “Give God your time,” I bet your mind goes to the all-familiar — “Well, I guess I have to go to church more or get more involved in church-sponsored activities.”

But, there is so much more to giving God your time than accumulating more hours inside of a brick and mortar building. Let me give you five areas as to what it means to “Give God Your Time.” First, time with God – Bible study and prayer. Second, time with family. Third, time with others. Fourth, time with church, and finally, time with yourself.

God has designed us to need to have relationships in these five areas. And, since he is the designer, we should submit and give him what he planned for us. Why give him our time? Why be good stewards of the time we have? Why would I want to give God all this time?

Answer: Because we are running out of time. We should give God our time, because we can see that the world is getting worse and worse and our time is running short. When we do, we find a New Hope for Today.
