LAURINBURG — Laurin Holder joined Red Willow Hair Studio at 110 S. Main St.
Red Willow is a salon that offers hair cutting, coloring, waxing and makeup services. Holder started at Red Willow on Nov. 3 to cut, color and style hair.
She was born and raised in Rockingham and received her diploma for cosmetology from the Sandhills Community College in Pinehurst.
Holder worked at Clinique Cosmetics in Southern Pines for five years. She also worked for Studio Elite Hair Gallery in Aberdeen for eight months before taking the position with Red Willow.
“I’m glad to be working here because they are the only Goldwell salon in Laurinburg, which is a color line,” Holder said noting that she was trained on Goldwell products. “I like that I’m closer to home and I like working with this company.”
