LAURINBURG – A resident at the Bus Terminal Motel on East Church Street reported to police on Tuesday that someone broke into his room and stole $140 worth of clothes.

Larceny

LAURINBURG – An employee of Food Lion on Aberdeen Road reported to police on Monday that someone shoplifted items from the store and fled. Police arrested Bryan Locklear, 30, of Plant Road, on charges of misdemeanor larceny> he was also charged with several outstanding warrants for failure to appear. Locklear received a $51,500 bond, according to police. The driver of the vehicle, Shelia Hunt, 52, of Plant Road was charged with delay and obstruct an officer and given a $1,000 secured bond.

LAURINBURG – An employee of Walmart reported to police on Monday that a man entered the store around 10:45 p.m. and stole three cell phones.

LAURINBURG – An employee of Family Dollar located on South Main Street reported to police on Monday that a man purchased a pack of chewing gum, when the cashier opened the register the man reached in grabbed money and ran.
