ROCKINGHAM — Two Laurel Hill residents are facing charges in connection to a break-in in Hamlet.

Investigators with the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office say 22-year-old Dustin Ray Davis and 19-year-old Allison Lynette Davis, both of the same address on Andrew Jackson Highway in Laurel Hill, broke into a house on Eddie’s Lane, south of Hamlet, on Jan. 22, stealing more than $2,600 in personal items from the home.

They were arrested Feb. 6 and each charged with one count of breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering. The pair was booked into the Richmond County Jail, each under a $2,500 secured bond and are scheduled to appear in court April 13.

Dustin Davis has pending charge of assault on a female, online court records show. Neither Dustin Davis nor Allison Davis have any previous convictions in North Carolina.
