Arrest

FAYETTEVILLE — Naim Hasan, 61, of 3709 Madison Ave., was arrested Thursday by the Scotland County Sheriff’s Office for misdemeanor resist, delay and obstruct an officer and felonious fraud and forgery, according to a sheriff’s report. He was placed in the Scotland County jail under a $10,100 bond.

Theft

LAURINBURG — A resident of the 5300 block of Crestline Road reported Monday that someone had stolen a toolbox from his truck, cut all four of his tires and poured something in his gasoline tank, according to a sheriff’s report. The toolbox was valued at $50; damage to the tires was estimated at $500.

Break-ins

LAURINBURG — A resident of the 8100 block of Glascow Drive reported Thursday that someone had taken a revolver from his SUV, according to a sheriff’s report.

LAUREL HILL — A resident of the 23000 block of Marston Road reported Saturday that someone took a washing machine and dryer from his home, valued at a total of $750, according to a sheriff’s report. A “ministry package,” valued at $350, was also reported stolen.

LAURINBURG — A resident of the 900 block of Kinston Street reported Thursday that someone took 20 pairs of basketball shoes and a flatscreen television from his home, according to police. The items were valued at a total of $3,400.

LAURINBURG — Break-ins to two cars parked on Fairley Street were reported Thursday, according to police. Stolen from a 2007 Toyota was a radio, microphone, cash and debit cards; taken from a 2000 Jeep was a firearm, according to police.

LAURINBURG — A resident of the 800 block of Old Lumberton Road reported Tuesday that someone took a shotgun and a television from his residence, according to police. The items were valued at $830.
