LAURINBURG — Two men wanted by Laurinburg Police Department on separate felony charges have been captured. Karon Tajah Harrington a.k.a. Debo, 23, and Darryl Deavon Law aka Jersey, 35 are now in custody.
Law was arrested on Tuesday. Officers had warrants on file for him for his involvement in a home invasion on Tara Drive on June 24. He along with two other suspects allegedly went into a home and took a firearm and other items.
He is being held under a $30,000 bond, according to the Laurinburg Police Department. He made a court appearance on Wednesday for charges of felony robbery with a dangerous weapon, felony larceny of a firearm, felony to conspire to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon and felony possession of firearm by felon.
Shaquan Marice Legrand a.k.a. Quan, 22, who police said was also involved in the home invasion has not been captured.
According to Laurinburg police, Harrington was arrested on Sunday. He is a suspect in a robbery on Wagram Street on June 29. Two women alleged a man, later identified as Harrington, pointed a gun at them, demanding money and other items.
His first court appearance was Tuesday.
He was charged with felony possession of firearm by felon, felony robbery with a dangerous weapon and misdemeanor assault by pointing a gun. Bond was set for $50,000 for the possession of firearm by felon charge and $1,500 for the misdemeanor charge.
