LAURINBURG — Due to the probability of rain, the Laurinburg-Scotland County Area Chamber of Commerce will postpone the opening of the Laurinburg After Five concert series.
The series’ first concert, featuring Jim Quick and Coastline, was originally scheduled for tonight.
On Thursday, Chamber officials announced that the concert has been rescheduled for June 3 at 6 p.m. at the James L. Morgan Recreation Complex. Jim Quick and Coastline have agreed to appear on that date.
Gates will open at 5 p.m.
Admission is $2 (children under 12 are free) and organizers say coolers and pets are prohibited.
This year’s Laurinburg After Five series will continue on June 17 with Hip Pocket, July 15 with The Entertainers, and an Aug. 12 finale featuring The Tams.
