LAURINBURG — Scotland County Sheriff’s seized 139 grams of crack cocaine following an arrest Friday morning.

Deputies say they charged David Emanuel, 20, of 67 Modest Road., Maxton and Daniel Scott, 30, of 16801 Dayle Drive, Marston.

Emanuel and Scott were each charged with maintaining a vehicle, dwelling or other place for controlled substance, conspiring to traffic in cocaine and possession with intent to sell and deliver.

The arrest was made in a collaborative effort with law enforcement in Robeson County, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, and the State Bureau of Investigation, officials said

“They had an in going investigation in reference to a drug case,” said Captain Mitch Johnson with the Scotland County sheriff’s office.
