Spring Branch Missionary Baptist Church is celebrating Annual Women’s Weekend. Prayer breakfast begins at 9 a.m. at 21300 Old Wire Road, Wagram with Praise and Worship by Yolanda Freeman and Hunter’s Chapel A.M.E Zion Church. Minister Tonia Williams of Nashville Baptist Church and Minister Mary Norris of St. Johns Holiness church will be guest speakers for this event. Sunday service will start at 11 a.m. and Prophetess Sharon Woodham of St. Michael’s Hope Ministries, Bennettsville S.C., will give the morning message and Rev. Bert Lattaker III will be the pastor.

The First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Aberdeen will have the first-ever Healing Weekend services at 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. nightly at 217 South Pinehurst Street, Aberdeen. The service will be conducted by a worldwide Faith Healing Evangelist, Art Thomas. He will be leading all of our three services, including a morning service from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Sunday.

Friendship One Accord Worldwide Church of God will celebrate Homecoming and Friends and Family Day at 16221 Zion Road, Marston and services will include Bishop Robert Baldwin of Roseboro speaking Oct. 27 at 7:30 p.m., Mary Wesley of Red Springs speaking on Oct. 28 at 7:30 p.m. and Charles Jiles of Fayetteville speaking on Oct. 30 at 11 a.m., which is community day and a cookout will take place as well.

St. John’s United Methodist Church will hold its Annual Harvest Day. This year, barbecue and chicken salad plates will be sold at the event from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Plates are $8 each for eat in or carry out. Barbecue plates will include sides of cole slaw hush puppies, sweet potatoes and cake. Chicken salad plates will come with lettuce, an apple ring, bread, crackers and dessert.
