To the editor:
Just recently my daughter and three grandchildren were stranded on a country road in Scotland County by a flat tire. My daughter called me to inform me of the situation, but I could not respond due to medical issues. I called Lt. Tommy Butler to see if he could assist my daughter and he stated that he would take care of it. This is the type of loyal service we never hear about.
I have known Lt. Butler for 25 years and I am proud to know, as a citizen of Scotland County, that we have such loyal and dedicated law enforcement officers as Lt. Butler.
