Arrests


LAURINBURG — Deasia McLaurin, 18, of 9341 Cotton Lane in Gibson, was served with an order for arrest on Tuesday for failure to appear in court, according to a police report. She was held under a $7,000 secured bond.


WAGRAM — Latoya McDonald, 36, of 27021 Harold Morris Road, was served with a criminal summons Tuesday for a charge of misdemeanor larceny, according to a sheriff’s report.


LAURINBURG — William Scott, 19, of 1732 Pebble Road in Bennettsville, S.C., was served with an order for arrest Tuesday for failure to appear in court in reference to consuming alcohol, according to a sheriff’s report.


Break-ins


LAURINBURG — The Morning Star Family Care Home 2, at North Main Street, reported on Tuesday that someone stole a gas pack from the establishment and caused about $125 damage to the door and a natural gas copper line, according to a police report.


LAURINBURG — Christopher and Janet Bryant, of Carriage Circle, reported Tuesday that someone broke into their home and stole money and a shotgun, according to a sheriff’s report. About $250 damage was caused to a door.


Theft


LAURINBURG — James Butler, of Academy Road, reported on Tuesday that someone stole a miniature pinscher dog, worth about $400, from a chain link kennel at his home, according to a sheriff’s report.


Fraud


LAUREL HILL — Susan Messer, of Wood Duck Run, reported Tuesday that some stole her ATM bank card and withdrew about $1,200 from her account, according to a sheriff’s report.


WAGRAM — Bernard Sumpter, of Wood Lane in Red Springs, reported on Wednesday that someone withdrew about $400 from an ATM with his debit card, according to a sheriff’s report.


Vandalism


LAUREL HILL — Nicole Worth, of Cornwall Court, reported on Tuesday that someone caused damage to her Ford Mustang with an unknown object, according to a sheriff’s report.
