Two couples to lead Samaritans

LAURINBURG — The Silent Samaritans of Scotland Family Counseling Center is beginning to plan for the group’s annual event, to be held March 6 at the W. R. Dulin Center on the campus of Scotland Memorial Hospital.

Greg Wood, President and CEO of Scotland Health Care System, will be the keynote speaker.

Danny and Carolina Caddell are serving as leaders and Whit and Tammie Gibson will be the co-leaders. They will be actively serving with other committee members Lynn Mason, Shannon Hamilton, Lee Howell, Miranda Faulk, Jim Bumgardner, Mary Neil Thompson and Charles Wentz.

The Silent Samaritan Society endeavors to help families who are experiencing a troubled and painful time in life. Also like the Good Samaritan, the Silent Samaritan Society provides financial gifts to Scotland Family Counseling Center, Inc. to help families with counseling support and counseling fee subsidies in a quiet and humble manner.
