Business Development ManagerCivitas MediaCivitas Media, LLC requires a new Business Development Manager to lead and oversee the development and growth of profitable new business and to develop and maintain effective key local community advertising relationships. This position will be responsible for all aspects of managing and motivating Local Business Development Teams. This position will also ensure business growth through directing and managing business development activities to ensure these are delivered in accordance with the organizational strategy. External Relationships: Sales Representatives and New and Existing BusinessesInternal Relationships: The Business Development Team, Directors, Senior Management, Account Management Team, SEO team, Marketing, Finance and AdministrationSalary: Commission of new business profit, NegotiableLocation: Rockingham, NC and Clinton, NC (two separate positions).Experience and Education: 4 year accredited (College or University) degree or advanced degree preferred. Five plus years successful sales experience and three plus years of sales management experience with multi-location management preferred. Accounting and computer presentation skills preferred. Familiarity and comfort level with electronic sales management systems desired. Key Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesContribute to the development and refinement of Civitas Medias vision and strategy, Support the overall process of management and corporate decision-making to ensure the organization maximizes its short, medium and long-term profitability and shareholder returns, Liaise with other executive heads on the implementation of the company's strategic and operational plans, Develop, review, and report on the business development locations strategy, ensuring the strategic objectives are well understood and executed by the team Management of Local Business Development Functions Including:Impact the profitability of the locations through ensuring strategic and tactical management decisions and new business development results, Marketing, Competitor and market analysis, Develop and lead the Local Business Development Reps. and teams in sourcing, managing and implementing new business opportunities, Ensure efficient and effective marketing, advertising and promotional planning through the use of Civitas Media sales and development resources, Present a budget for regional approval and prudently manage resources within those budgetary guidelines according to company policy and within ethical corporate governance guide-lines, Maintain and develop organizational culture, values and reputation in the local market and with all staff, customers, suppliers, partners and regulatory/official bodies People ManagementBuild and lead effective and cohesive Local Business Development Sales Teams, Self development and continuing personal development Basic Areas of Knowledge and SkillsGood project and time management skills, Knowledge of business and management principles, Strong analytical skills, Organizational skills, Leadership skills, Ability to work collaboratively Please send resumes to Civitas Media is a growing Company and is currently adding associates/managers with a variety of skill sets.
