Arrests


LAURINBURG — Maria Armstrong, 34, of 410 Beta St., was arrested Sunday for communicating threats, according to a police report.


LAURINBURG — Andrea Scott, 21, of 101 Marcelus St., received an order for arrest on Sunday for failure to appear in court, according to a police report. She was held under a $100 bond.


LAURINBURG — Carl Johnson, 45, of 700 Harrison St., received an order for arrest Sunday for failure to appear, according to a police report. He was held under a $300 bond.


LAURINBURG — Ebony Harris, 34, of 233 East Church St., received a criminal summons on Sunday for making threatening phone calls, according to a police report.


LAURINBURG — Irish Manning, 32, of 17040 Old Lumberton road, was served with two warrants on Sunday for assault and communicating threats, according to a police report. She received a written promise type bond.


LAURINBURG — Marcus Carter, 21, of 517 Produce Market Road, was served with warrants Sunday for assault and vandalism, according to a police report. He received a written promise type bond.


LAUREL HILL — Billy Hunt, 35, of 18020 Duncan Ave., was arrested on Sunday and charged with misdemeanor escape from custody or resist arrest, according to a sheriff’s report. He was held under a $2,000 unsecured bond.


Break-ins


LAURINBURG — Johnson Brothers Realty, at Hickory Street, reported Friday that someone damaged the door and door frame to the establishment, according to a police report. About $100 worth of damages was caused.


LAURINBURG — Christina Munley, of Butler Street, reported Sunday that someone stole the rims and tires from her vehicle, a television and assorted hair products from her home and caused about $100 worth of damages to windows, according to a police report. Approximately $2,560 worth of items were stolen from her residence.


LAURINBURG — Dawg Haus Express, at South Main Street, reported Saturday that someone caused about $2,000 worth of damages to the walk-in refrigerator and steel window at the establishment, according to a police report. A security monitor and cordless drill were stolen. The items stolen are worth approximately $700.


LAUREL HILL — Nic’s Pik Kwik, at Andrew Jackson Highway, reported Sunday that someone broke into the building and stole over 30 cartons of cigarettes and 30 cigars, according to a sheriff’s report. The thief caused approximately $4,000 in damages to the exterior wall and metal door to the establishment.


LAURINBURG — Gary Godoy, of Fieldcrest Road, reported on Friday that someone broke into his home and stole a laptop, laptop case, a toolbox with assorted tools inside and damaged a window frame, according to a sheriff’s report. The items stolen are worth about $100.


Theft


LAURINBURG — Felicia Jefferson, of Cornelia Street, reported Sunday that someone stole medication from her home, according to a police report.


LAURINBURG — Telemeka McClelland, of Lincoln Street, reported on Friday that someone cut the chains that secured two bicycles at her home and stole them, according to a police report. The bicycles are worth about $450.


Vandalism


LAURINBURG — Delton Chavis, of Sunset Drive, reported Friday that someone shot the storm door to to his residence with a BB gun and it caused about $200 worth of damages, according to a police report.


Assault


GIBSON — Norman Johnson, of X-Ray Road, reported on Sunday that someone pointed a gun at him and fired a shot in his direction when he was on Railroad Street, according to a sheriff’s report. Johnson was not injured and authorities seized a green shell casing from the scene of the crime for evidence. The investigation is still ongoing.
